WSP Barber Shoppe EO/FO blend

Has anyone had success using this in CP soap? On the WSP website, it says that it accelerates trace, and may cause ricing. The reviews range from "soap on a sticK", to "behaved perfectly".
Just curious if the ingredients, or temperature, or water discount that made a difference.
