Managing fragrance that accelerates trace

I have a design I want to do that requires plenty of working time. I've maxed out my fragrance budget to find the right fragrance and no fragrance I have will give me acceptable trace. So I'm thinking about mixing the slowest tracing FO with the one I really want to use that accelerates trace way too much. They're both watery/ozoney fragrances. Has anyone done anything like that? Would they kinda just cancel each other out? Or just ruin the entire thing?

I would give it a go with a small batch as a test, but this really could work.

Also taken to count your temperature, your formulation, getting the batter just to emulsion versus a trace and all that good stuff.
