Dried Orange Spots (DOS) on my Soap

Hello, I want to ask, I just realized that the inside of the hand blender I have is rusty... and when I make soap, dried orange spots (DOS) often appear.
is this related? Thank you for your attention, I hope you can answer it

Probably not, although it’s possible since rust won’t appear on stainless and so you may have a reaction from that metal.

DOS (dreaded orange spots) tends to come from rancidity of the oils, when soft oils ’go bad’ or when the oil is already rancid when you start.
